Pocket letter created for a swap on Swap Bot! I'll also be adding a couple of extra goodies inside the packaging. I'm loving these colors right now and I hope the recipient does, too!
Something I like to do is use removable glue dots for the elements so they can decorate the letter now and be used by the recipient later. For this letter, the rosette clips, the bows, and the "sale" tag are all adhered this way so they can be easily removed and used for other projects/journals. The paper and ephemera are from the Fashionista collection by Echo Park. The stamped girl is Sugar and Spice from the Santoro Gorjuss Girls line and she is colored with Copic markers.

I'm excited to be participating in this throwdown for the first time. Their 500th challenge seems like a good time to join!
Click here to see the post. I'm sure it comes as no surprise to most of you that my favorite crafting time of year is the time leading up to Christmas. I get to craft so many more hours per day and call it Christmas shopping!
I'm busy working on projects from baby blankets to scarves, to a full set of Christmas cards (my favorite craft of them all is card-making!), to Christmas-themed art journal pages, and more. The craft stores smell fantastic with the cinnamon and pine scents, and my heart skips an extra beat every time I walk in the door. Not the least of the things I find exciting: Christmas/holiday-themed products! Between Amazon, Simon Says Stamp, and oozak, I should be on a first-name basis with every delivery person in the area! I may have made a few purchases... One of the things I love the most is a good card kit. I love them. It's like Christmas every single month when my SSS kit arrives - and this month?? I am getting THREE kits! Yes, three! I'm getting the regular December SSS kit, the special holiday SSS kit, and a gorgeous new kit from Love from Lizi! I absolutely cannot wait to receive these kits, get some things made, and share them with you! I'm currently working on setting up a video camera, so hopefully videos will be coming around or after the New Year. (Sooner if I can manage!) Thanks for being here and reading this. Thanks for sharing in my excitement. See you all again soon and don't forget to Ink, Play, Love. ❤️ |
